QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

Level 5 Diploma HE Counselling

I have completed a two year diploma qualification with Glyndwr University in Counselling.

This qualification was grounded in the person-centred approach providing me with the skills to provide an empathic, authentic relationship which will develop an effective therapeutic interaction with my clients.

This qualification included a 12 month placement providing a counselling service to clients.

NCPS Accredited Member

I am an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, the accreditation register mark is a recognition of my commitment to high standards.

The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society's register has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under its Accredited Registers programme.

Accreditation offers practitioners working in counselling a means of demonstrating their personal commitment to meeting high standards by joining The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society or another accredited register.

Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling

This eighty hour course was completed with Counselling Tutor and has enabled me with the skills required to work competently with clients either online or over the telephone depending on their requirements.

Ecotherapy and Walk and Talk Therapy

This training course provided me with the skills to safely work with clients outside the counselling room, allowing for the opportunity to incorporate nature into our work together.

Trauma Informed Practitioner

I have completed training in Trauma Informed Practice which allows me to understand how trauma affects the brain and has developed my skills to work with client trauma in a safe and sensitive way.

Counselling for Bereavement

This course provided a deeper understanding of bereavement and how individuals can be impacted following a loss. Allowing me to draw on more skills when working with clients at different stages of grief and loss.
